Living in the Tampa area for so long I sometimes forget that many people outside of Florida do not know about lanai’s. To Florida natives, lanai’s are often the favorite parts of our homes. Whether it’s a small space for just a table and some comfortable chairs or a larger space that contains an outdoor kitchen and pool area, lanais are as common in Florida as is the amount of sunshine we receive.
In most cases, lanais contain a covered area that is supplied with plenty of light.
